No LimitsThe No Limits Program is funded by the Maryland Department of Human Resources and is intended to prepare displaced homemakers to enter or re-enter the job market and achieve self-sufficiency. Eligibility requirements to participate in the program are:

  • Individuals must be at least 30 years of age
  • Individuals have performed as a homemaker for their family in the family home
  • Individuals are currently not gainfully employed and have had or would have difficulty obtaining employment
  • Individuals have depended on the income of a family member and have lost part or all of that income as a result of separation, divorce, or the death or disability of that family members.

The No Limits Program provides job readiness training, job placement services, individual financial management training, career counseling services, monthly informational workshops and discussion groups on topics such as consumer education, stress management, cognitive coping skills, and health related issues.

Skills training opportunities are provided in areas such as manufacturing and all participants will be afforded the opportunity for full time employment with benefits.

Employers who interview and hire graduates of the No Limits Program will receive two excellent benefits:

  • There are no fees or costs associated with employing the graduates. The only cost is the time to notify us of employment opportunities and to conduct interviews.
  • Each graduate will be provided six months of job retention services and counseling. Employers can contact us to intercede in performance or other minor issues that are necessary to resolve and ensure employment continues.
